How Can I Help You Move Forward?

My practice is dedicated to helping clients navigate the complexities of real estate law. With more than 25 years’ representing clients locally and nationally, I evaluate each client’s specific needs and goals to identify and resolve complicated real estate and business issues. Because I am well-connected and active in several professional organizations in my community, I am able provide my clients with the most up-to-date information and guidance in their transactions.

Practicing in the firm’s New Orleans office, Anne E. Raymond assists clients in acquiring, developing, leasing and financing commercial real estate, covering many facets of real estate law, title insurance, workouts, foreclosures and business law. Her practice also includes estate planning and the administration of successions for clients having estates varying in size and complexity. Anne earned an AV® Preeminent Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest possible rating for legal ability and ethical standards.

With more than 25 years as a licensed title insurance producer, Anne is an authorized agent for both First American Title Insurance Company and Fidelity National Title Insurance Company. In addition to examining thousands of residential and commercial titles in connection with her title insurance and foreclosure practices, she is well experienced in title insurance claims and resolutions, other curative matters and the defense of real estate titles. Through LAWLA Title LLC, the firm’s wholly owned title insurance company, she provides title services, insurance, and related matters for all types of real estate transactions.

To better serve her clients, Anne has remained continuously involved in a variety of professional and community organizations. For example, in 2014 she served as president of the Louisiana Land Title Association, of which she has been a member for many years. She was elected to the Board in 2010 and has served continuously since 2009 on its Legislative Committee and is currently its Chair. Anne is a founding member of New Orleans CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women), member of the Louisiana Bankers Association, and serves on the Louisiana State Law Institute Notaries Committee.
