Overview
Tyler Arbour has a broad practice that allows him to assist business and individual clients in a multitude of ways. He regularly assists with tax planning and tax controversies, representing taxpayers before the IRS, the Louisiana Department of Revenue and various parishes. He also works with tax-exempt organizations, forming and ensuring ongoing compliance with their special tax and other requirements. For families and individuals, Tyler assists with estate planning and administration, as well as handling high-net-worth community property partitions and negotiating and preparing matrimonial agreements. For businesses, including closely held and family-owned businesses, Tyler has provided experienced guidance through contested and uncontested successions worth tens of millions of dollars.
A highly successful commercial transactional lawyer and litigator, Tyler regularly assists clients in many types of business transactions, such as operating agreements, asset purchase agreements, employment agreements and other business matters. When business conflicts do arise, Tyler is an aggressive advocate for his clients’ interests in both state and federal courts.
Outside the Office
When Tyler is not occupied with his clients’ success, he enjoys spending time with his husband, their children and their rescued standard poodles.
