How Can I Help You Move Forward?

As a trial attorney with more than 15 years’ experience, I have zealously represented individuals and companies as first chair in more than 1,000 cases, including 40 tried to jury verdict. My tireless work ethic combined with experienced trial know-how allow me to help my clients successfully navigate often challenging litigation to advantageous conclusions.

Rachel Hancock represents individuals and companies in litigation. Among those matters she defends against gross negligence and personal injury claims, premises liability, products liability, construction defects, and business torts. In addition, she defends and prosecutes first party property claims regarding homeowner’s policy claims and insurance coverage.

Working first for private law firms and then 12 years as in-house counsel for two major insurance companies, Rachel honed her exceptional skills in heavy litigation dockets, including collaborating on and completing appellate work for numerous cases. Her extensive experience in pre-trial discovery, depositions, expert retention, motion practice and jury selection has proved invaluable in helping her clients achieve their desired outcomes.

Outside the Office

Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband, Ben and her daughters Evelyn and Avery. She also enjoys traveling, attending shows and reading. Once upon a time, she sang and acted in Broadway-style charity shows and events and hopes to do so again someday.
