Previously, Ramos worked for the marine practice group of the firm Clyde & Co. in Long Beach, California, handling various maritime and general litigation issues. Before that, she served as law clerk for the New Orleans firm Chaffe McCall and as intern for U.S. Magistrate Joseph Wilkinson Jr. in Louisiana’s Eastern District.
After earning a bachelor’s degree in political science from Louisiana State University in 2012, Ramos received her Juris Doctor from Tulane University Law School as a magna cum laude graduate in 2015, where she was elected to Order of the Coif and served as senior managing editor of the Tulane Maritime Law Journal. She was also awarded the Charles Kohlmeyer Jr. Award, reserved for an outstanding J.D. graduate in maritime law, and has written articles that have appeared in Benedict’s Maritime Bulletin.
