Overview
Since joining Lugenbuhl, Destinee Ramos has focused on several practice areas, including admiralty and maritime, commercial litigation, and insurance coverage and defense. She has acted on behalf of blue- and brown-water ship owners, carriers, logistics providers, oil and gas providers, small and large companies and their insurers. Destinee is a highly experienced advocate at all stages of the litigation process, from pre-dispute negotiations to formal litigation in state and federal trial and appellate courts.
In addition to her legal experience, Destinee is a respected leader within the firm and the broader legal community. As a member of the firm’s Board of Directors, she helps guide the firm’s strategic direction and decision-making. She is passionate for developing the next generation of attorneys through her mentorship of to the firm’s Summer Associates, providing guidance, support, and practical insight to aspiring legal professionals. She is also a strong advocate for the advancement of women in the legal profession, actively participating in organizations dedicated to supporting and promoting women in maritime law.
Destinee’s leadership, collaborative approach, and commitment to professional excellence allow her to bring strategic perspective, sound judgment, and a client-focused mindset to every matter she handles.
Outside the Office
In Destinee’s free time, she enjoys watching football and spending time with her husband and two sons.
