Lawyers of Color is a nonprofit organization focused on promoting diversity in the legal profession and advancing democracy and equality in marginalized communities. The organization spotlights and celebrates attorneys of color and studies issues related to the intersection of the legal profession and social justice.
Diaz-Yaeger is the Vice President of the Hispanic National Bar Association’s Divisions, Sections & Committees. Her extensive work advocating for the advancement of women and minorities in the legal profession has led to numerous honors, including the 2015 Louisiana State Bar Association’s Human Rights Award and selection as a 2017 Women in Law Future Leader in the area of Gender Diversity by Chambers USA. She was also appointed to serve on the advisory committee of the United States Senate Republican Task Force on Hispanic Affairs in 2017.
