Kadden will speak about the Louisiana Oil Well Lien Act (LOWLA) on Friday, March 15. His presentation will examine the history of LOWLA with a review and explanation of its general provisions. The discussion will include how consensual “liens,” or privileges, are unenforceable in Louisiana and the treatment of a LOWLA privilege in a bankruptcy case.
The seminar provides Louisiana, Texas and Mississippi CLE credits. For more information, visit the LSU Law website.
