Overview
Madeline R. Michael is a member of Lugenbuhl’s Maritime Insurance Coverage group focusing primarily on Defense Base Act (DBA) work.
A lifelong resident of New Orleans, Maddi graduated from Mount Carmel Academy before attending Louisiana State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in political communications, magna cum laude.
She went on to attend Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, graduating cum laude in 2025 and earning a Certificate in International Legal Studies.
During law school, Maddi worked in the Stuart H. Smith Law Clinic, representing parents of children with disabilities to help ensure their children received a fair and appropriate education guaranteed under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.
Outside the Office
I enjoy traveling, yoga, exploring new restaurants around the city, and cheering on the Saints.
