Overview

Anhkiet (Dollar) Hoang is an experienced attorney with a diverse legal background spanning civil litigation, insurance defense, business litigation, and immigration law. Dollar is committed to providing knowledgeable legal service across a broad range of practice areas.

Based in Lugenbuhl’s Houston office, Dollar joins Lugenbuhl’s team with extensive litigation experience. His practice includes handling all phases of pre-trial litigation, preparing dispositive motions, conducting and defending depositions, and representing clients in both jury trials and hearings. His work in immigration law has included representing clients in asylum hearings, family-based petitions, and employment- and investment-based immigration matters, including EB-5 investments.

Earlier in his career, Dollar founded his own practice, where he facilitated EB-5 investor petitions. As a conversational Vietnamese speaker, he had the opportunity to present at an EB-5 conference in Vietnam. He also clerked for Harris County Attorney’s Office, gaining valuable experience in constitutional defense work.

Dollar earned his Juris Doctor from Duke University School of Law in 2015, where he was a Duke Law Scholar and actively involved in the International Criminal Court Student Network and the Duke Law Innocence Project. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Tulane University, graduating cum laude with multiple Dean’s List honors.

He is admitted to practice in Texas as well as the Southern and Western Districts of Texas.

Outside the Office

Outside the office, Dollar enjoys spending time with his family, cheering for the Blue Devil basketball team, and trying new restaurants.
