Tyler Arbour Honored with Louisiana State Bar Association’s Citizen Lawyer Award

The Louisiana State Bar Association recently honored Lugenbuhl attorney Tyler Arbour as a recipient of its Citizen Lawyer Award. Tyler was recognized during the LSBA’s 2020 Midyear Meeting in Baton Rouge.

The Citizen Lawyer Award recognizes individual attorneys and judges who have performed public service out of a sense of duty, responsibility and professionalism. Tyler’s character and service to the community exemplifies the ideals of recipients of this award.

Tyler has served as a Project Lazarus board member since 2015, which provides housing and assistance to those living with HIV/AIDS in the Greater New Orleans area. He has also served as a board member of Emerging Philanthropists of New Orleans, and he obtained the organization’s tax-exempt 501(c)(3) status on a pro bono basis. In addition, he was a member of the local leadership committee of Lambda Legal, which fights for civil rights of the LGBT committee and those living with HIV.
