Lugenbuhl shareholder Seth Schmeeckle will serve as a speaker for an upcoming New Orleans Bar Association panel discussion focused on major developments in insurance coverage and extra-contractual liability over the past year.
Seth and fellow panelists, Harold Flanagan and Stephen Miles, will discuss a range of topics including the Louisiana Supreme Court’s clarification of the prescriptive period for bad-faith causes of action, the U.S. Fifth Circuit’s endorsement of Gasquet settlements and potential legislation on the horizon in the spring 2020 session concerning insurance bad faith statutes.
