Lugenbuhl Shareholder Elia Diaz-Yaeger Slated for HNBA National Officer Selection


Lugenbuhl shareholder Elia Diaz-Yaeger is slated as the Hispanic National Bar Association’s Vice President - Sections & Committees officer and is running uncontested. She will officially take office following the final ballot results in August.

Elia is a longstanding and active member of HNBA. She is currently serving her second year as the Hispanic National Bar Association’s national secretary, as well as the editor of the biannual national publication, Noticias. Elia has created opportunities with scholarships and mentoring for Hispanic law students through her position on the HNBA board of governors, which she has held since 2011.

Locally, she was instrumental in recruiting Hispanic attorneys and judges from throughout the nation through her role as former co-chair of the HNBA Annual Corporate Counsel Conference and Moot Court Competition, which was held in New Orleans in 2001.
