Lugenbuhl shareholder Joseph Briggett recently contributed an article to The Bankruptcy Strategist.

The article examines issues surrounding creditor and debtor rights related to the enforcement of judgments against LLCs, including the charging order statute, a judgment creditor’s right to information, rights against single member LLCs and the effect of a bankruptcy filing.

Joseph focuses on several practice areas including commercial litigation and bankruptcy, restructuring, and creditors’ rights. He has distinguished himself as an advocate in the courtroom, but also uses his understanding of a business’ needs to achieve practical results. In recognition of his accomplishments, Joseph has been named to the Louisiana Super Lawyers’ Rising Stars list for the past four years in the field of business litigation, as well as the New Orleans Magazine Top Lawyers list for the past two years in categories including banking and finance law, as well as bankruptcy and restructuring.
