Donna Thomisee, managing partner of Lugenbuhl’s Houston office, has been elected to membership in the Fellows of the Texas Bar Foundation. Fellows of the Foundation are selected for their outstanding professional achievements and their demonstrated commitment to the improvement of the justice system throughout the state of Texas.

Thomisee was initially invited to become a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, an honor only extended to the top one-third of one percent of Texas attorneys. Once nominees are invited and selected for membership, they must be formally elected by the Texas Bar Foundation Board of Trustees. Election is a mark of distinction and recognition of Thomisee’s contributions to the legal profession.

The Texas Bar Foundation is the largest charitably funded bar foundation in the country. For more than 50 years, membership has grown from just over 250 charter members to more than 9,500 Fellows throughout Texas. To date, the Foundation has distributed more than $19 million to assist nonprofits throughout Texas with a range of justice-related programs and services.
