The Louisiana State Bar Association has scheduled a Bankruptcy Law 2022 Webinar Series Part 1 and Part 2 to take place on April 20, 2022. Lugenbuhl’s Managing Shareholder, Benjamin Kadden is co-chairing the event and will participate in the program’s Overview for each part of the webinar series. He is also participating on the faculty. Shareholders Ashley Belleau and Alicia Bendana are on the roster of the faculty for the series.

As part of this two-part series attendees will learn all about the unique challenges and procedural complexities of bankruptcy. Part 1 will provide the tools to address Subchapter V of Chapter 11, litigating malfeasance claims, and pressing Chapter 11 issues. Part 2 will examine third party releases, divisive mergers, and ethical pitfalls. Multiple informative sessions will prepare attendees for what’s happening in bankruptcy law today.

Webinar Part 1 is scheduled from 8:15 AM – 11:50 AM and Part 2 is scheduled for the afternoon from 1:00 PM- 4:35 PM. Alicia Bendana will co-present in the 2nd morning session, Litigating Malfeasance Claims in Bankruptcy, Webinar Part 1. Ashley Belleau and Benjamin Kadden will team up as co-panelists with Hon. Meredith S. Grabill of the US Bankruptcy Court in a discussion about ethics, entitled It’s Not Easy Being Green; Ethical Pitfalls for Bankruptcy Novices, Webinar Part 2.

Interested participants must register for Part 1 and Part 2 separately at a cost of $130 each to receive the maximum 6.5 hours of CLE credit.
