Focusing on insurance defense and litigation, Sarah is most productive when managing multiple clients. Whether she is working independently or on a team, the personal attention she provides clients helps guide them through all aspects of litigation.
Sarah Laurie concentrates her current practice in insurance coverage defense and litigation but has had extensive experience in other areas of the law including mass tort, property law, family law, employment discrimination, and personal injury. Prior to law school, she worked both on Capitol Hill and in the U.S. State Department.
Sarah graduated magna cum laude with her B.A. in Political Science from the George Washington University and then earned her J.D. from Tulane University School of Law. During law school, she was an intern to the Honorable Ted Bandstra of the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida, a student attorney with the Tulane Civil Litigation Clinic, and a member of the Tulane Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property where her legal comment on the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act was published.
When not at work, Sarah spends time with her husband and daughter. She is a member of the Irish Channel Neighborhood Association, the World War II Museum Young Benefactors, and The Historic New Orleans Collection's Caillot Circle. She enjoys rooting for the Saints and Tulane Green Wave.
