An associate in the firm's New Orleans office, Avery has a diverse practice and is well-versed in many areas of commercial law.


Avery is an associate who acts with purpose, transparency, and drive, working across multiple practice areas, including admiralty and maritime, commercial law and litigation, and bankruptcy. When working with her peers and clients, she demonstrates open and honest communication. Goal-driven, she is industrious until an agreeable solution is achieved.

Avery is a native of the New Orleans area and earned her Juris Doctor cum laude from Tulane University Law School in 2022. While in law school, she served as Managing Editor of the Tulane Law Review. Her comment addressing the applicability of the Americans with Disabilities Act to foreign-flag cruise ships operating in the United States was published in Volume 96 of the Review. She also served as judicial extern to the Honorable Barry W. Ashe of the Eastern District of Louisiana and will serve as his law clerk for the 2023-2024 term.
