Abigail (Abby) Gerrity is often described by clients and peers as creative, passionate, and dedicated. She advises and defends insurance carriers using innovative solutions to ensure that the clients' goals are achieved.
Abby defends insurers against a variety of first- and third-party claims, including coverage and liability claims relating to personal injury, property damage, employment discrimination, employer's liability, accounting malpractice, trucking accidents, breach of contract, and the violations of the Louisiana and United States Constitutions.
Abby earned both her B.A. and J.D. degrees from Tulane University. While in law school, Abby was elected the Executive Editor of the Tulane Journal of International & Comparative Law and won academic awards for earning the highest grade in her Torts II, Gender Law & Public Policy, and Civil Law Torts classes. She graduated law school Cum Laude, in the top 15% of her class, and with a Civil Law Certificate.
In her free time, Abby enjoys painting, attending live music concerts of local New Orleans musicians, and spending time with her wonderful husband, Joe, and their adorable son and dog. Abby is also a member of the Krewe of Iris and a Tulane Alumni Interviewer.
