Mrs. Diaz-Yaeger is originally from Texas. She received her BA and MS from the University of Southwestern Louisiana and her Juris Doctorate from Loyola School of Law. At Loyola she was the recipient of the Gillis Long Fellowship and the Law Clinic Outstanding Student Practitioner award. She was the President of the Spanish American Law Society, Legal Writing and Research Assistant, Street Law Coordinator and a member of the Jessup International Moot Court Team. Admitted to the Louisiana bar in 1995, she practices before all Louisiana state and federal courts. Her primary area of practice is industrial employment/long-latency lung disease litigation, insurance defense and coverage disputes, environmental law and commercial litigation. She has extensive experience in handling claims for exposures to asbestos and silica containing products and well as other occupational exposures. Because of her extensive background and experience in defending mass tort claims, Mrs. Diaz-Yaeger is able to provide clients with an early strategic plan, vigorous defense and efficient litigation. She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute.
