Kat Rito was born in Slidell, Louisiana on April 20, 1982. Kat graduated summa cum laude from Newcomb College of Tulane University, with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Latin American Studies in 2004. She graduated from Tulane Law School in 2007. She was admitted to practice in the state of Louisiana in 2007, as well as all federal courts therein. Kat practices primarily in the fields of commercial law and litigation, bankruptcy and employment law.
