Halima Narcisse Smith

Halima Narcisse Smith was born on September 1, 1977 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Ms. Smith graduated from Biloxi High School in Biloxi, Mississippi with honors in 1995. In 1999, she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English and graduated magna cum laude with honors in English. Ms. Smith graduated from Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans in 2002, where she was a member of the 2001 Louisiana ATLA trial team that placed first in the State. Following law school, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Ethel S. Julien at Civil District Court for the Parish of Orleans. Ms. Smith now practices primarily in the areas of toxic tort litigation and insurance defense litigation.
