Mrs. Diaz-Yaeger is originally from Texas. At Loyola she was the recipient of the Gillis Long Fellowship and the Law Clinic Outstanding Student Practioner award. She was the President of the Spanish American Law Society, Legal Research and Writing Assistant, Street Law Coordinator, Research Assistant for three professors and a member of the Jessup International Moot Court Team.

Ms. Diaz-Yaeger is a Shareholder in the firm. Her primary area of practice is industrial employment/long-latency lung disease litigation, insurance defense and coverage disputes, environmental law and commercial litigation. She has extensive experience in handling claims for exposure to asbestos and silica containing products and as well as other occupational exposures. Because of her extensive background and experience in defending mass tort claims, Mrs. Diaz-Yaeger is able to provide clients with an early strategic plan, vigorous defense and efficient litigation.

Mrs. Diaz-Yaeger is AV rated and was recently selected for the inaugural edition of the Martindale-Hubbell® Bar Register of Preeminent Women Lawyers™ - exclusively created for women attorneys who have received the highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards from their peers. Notably, less than 5% of women lawyers have been recognized with an AV Preeminent Rating. Mrs. Diaz-Yaeger is also participating in the ACC/HNBA Executive Leadership Program. She is 1 of 50 participants selected on a national basis to participate in the Program.

Mrs. Diaz-Yaeger volunteers and participates in a number of programs including: elementary school reading programs, various programs for children and various habitat/environmental groups. Additionally, she is a founding member of the Candy Girls/Life Savers of New Orleans, a non-profit group formed to help support and provide services to families in need as well as a to a local orphanage. Finally, Mrs. Diaz-Yaeger is involved in monitoring legal trends and proposed laws that have a direct impact or effect on the local Hispanic community.
